I was born with a deformed foot but i don't let that stop me, i get around just like every other dog but i may get arthritis early on so my new family needs to be aware of this.

What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• A doggie playmate would be great, if not then lots of socialising with other dogs
• I like both friendly male and female dogs
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• I LOVE attention and cuddles so I really need a home where I'm allowed inside with my family to soak up all of their love

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car

My best features:
• Very playful
• Wiggle butt
• Highly food motivated
• Gentle & placid
• I can sit on command
• I have had some basic obedience training and am a generally well-mannered dog
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• Happy to hang out with other dogs
• Social butterfly
• Love to snooze on the couch

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I can be excited when on the lead and may pull a bit - training and walking me in a halti or harness may stop this
• I love my food, so using that as a positive reward should make my training easier.

AN ADOPTION CAN'T BE APPROVED IF YOU HAVE CANNOT COME TO THE SHELTER TO MEET GIMPY IN PERSON.
