About Dozer
Hi there! My name is Dozer (aka Wombat, aka Walnut). Unfortunately my human became very ill and could no longer look after me and had to surrender me. I’ve finally settled into my new foster home and become friends with my 10 month old Staffy foster brother.
I’m a warm hearted, gentle natured and loving soul looking for my new best friend. If I’m not doing zoomies around the backyard with my foster brother, you’ll find me with my monstrous bone that I carry around for an eternity until I find the perfect hiding spot.
I’m incredibly loyal, and my humans mean absolutely everything to me.
I was raised with very few boundaries, and I blame my intoxicating hazelnut puppy eyes that got me everything I wanted! I’ve adjusted really well to my new rules, and learning new things as I go. I’ve learnt to wait patiently for my dinner until my human clicks her fingers. I’m learning to sit and wait at the door until allowed inside. I’ve learnt not to jump on my humans, but sit nicely for affection. And I’m making great progress with my foster brothers help; learning to sit, stay and come.
Even though I’m the biggest love bug and want nothing more than to be with my human, I’ve learnt to manage well being alone and keeping myself occupied. I’m gaining new skills quickly and now need some help learning how to walk appropriately on the lead. I’m great with other dogs that can match my enthusiasm and strength and I’m good with cats that are relaxed around me.
I would suit a home with older adults or a family with older children and prefer to be the only dog in the house so I can have my humans all to myself.
