So I'm guessing you clicked on my profile because you think I'm possibly the prettiest boy you have ever seen? Well you aren't wrong! But there's a lot more to me than just my looks, so let's get started!

My name is Mario, and I was surrendered to the shelter not long ago. As routine, I got a health exam done by the vets and they determined that I was in fact OBESE (excuse me!?) and that I needed to lose weight in order for me to live the long healthy life I deserve. Much to my disgust I agreed to commit to a diet. I thought the more of me meant the more to cuddle, but I guess the vets know best so I've been encouraged to play and exercise, as well as cut down on all the late night snacks. Unfortunate right?! My teefies are in decent condition for now but you will need to keep up with my dental hygiene and yearly vet checks to ensure they are staying on the right track as well as my weight.

Now enough about my health, let me tell you the fun things I have to offer. I'm super affectionate when I get to know my humans, I love to rub on their legs, curl up next to their feet, and will smoosh my face into your hand when I want pats! I love to lay around and soak up the sun, but indoors only please! I would hate for my precious pale skin to get damaged from the sun. As you could probably already guess, I love food. Any kind of food. I'm a smart boy and have learnt to do treasure hunts around my cage to find my bikkies so I'd love for this exercise and mental stimulation to continue into my feeding times at home!! I have also discovered whilst at the shelter that catnip is the best. THING. EVER!! I love to roll around playing with catnip toys, so this will come in handy helping me lose the excess weight! I have lived in a home with other animals before however we did not get along, and they made me super stressed out so I guess what I'm saying is that I will need to be your only child! What can I say? I love all the attention to myself and in return I shall offer you my undivided affection. Who wouldn't want that?!
