Maple

Meowdy!

My name is Maple and I am as sweet as can be. I am looking for the purrrfect family to call my own.

When I first came to the shelter I was a little overwhelmed with the change in environment but with lots of encouragement from the lovely staff I have learnt to open up and show my affectionate side. I may take some time to adjust to my new home so it would be best if you had a quiet room to set me up in with everything I need.

The way to my heart is definitely through my stomach - so stock up on lots of yummy treats (boiled chicken is the BEST!). I am also a big fan of toys - balls, bells, mouse, string toys - I'm not very picky - so long as I am spoilt by my human, I will be one happy boy. Once you get to know me I can be incredibly affectionate - chin scratches are my favourite.

Being on the quieter side, I am looking for an experienced family with no young children. I need someone who will be patient and help me develop my confidence over time. I have been treated for flu previously so I would also need to be kept as an indoors only cat - but this doesn't bother me because I am more than happy to spend my days inside cuddled by your side.
