On Hold
About Poppy- 12 Week Old (on trial 21/01/2022)
Poppy is an adventurous little girl who loves to explore and play. She loves nothing more than playing with her toys or zooming around the living room and wrestling with her sister Chia. Balls with bells in them or string on a stick do the trick.
When it comes to rest time, Poppy at first found it hard to settle on her humans, but with some advice from her sister Chia she is much more comfortable now having a sleep on the laps and chests of her people. So much so that she sometimes stretches out and almost falls off because she has such faith she will be caught!
Poppy and Chia, our little seedlings, came into care just before Christmas after somebody’s cat had a surprise litter. They have been handled since they were very young and are very used to people.
We think Miss Poppy would love someone to play with, so a house with another friendly, playful cat (or a dog with the right introductions) to keep her company would be perfect. Or you could consider adopting her sister Chia to be her companion!
Some extra info about Poppy:
* She is litter trained
* She would suit owners who work full time so long as she had another animal companion at home
* Must be an indoor cat only unless she has an enclosure to spend some time outdoors in
* Can only be adopted to the Newcastle/Hunter/Central Coast region as requires desexing before four months at a DRN allocated vet
* Poppy is currently in foster care with her sister Chia in Waratah West and is excited to meet her forever family!
* Poppy's adoption fee is $200 (or $350 with her sister Chia), which includes her desexing, microchip, first vaccination and flea and worm treatment whilst in care.
