On Hold
About Chia- 12 Week Old (on trial 21/01/2022)
Chia is a confident, friendly little cherub who loves to play and cuddle up.
She loves to play with her sister Poppy and is often the first one to pounce in a wrestling match.
She loves her wet food and zoomies around the lounge room.
When it comes to rest time though Chia loves nothing more than to snuggle up to you, often coming right up onto your chest. In fact, she wins the heart of everyone she meets with her love of naptime cuddles and continuous refrigerator-like purr. She will make a perfect movie watching companion.
Poppy and Chia, our little seedlings, came into care just before Christmas after somebody’s cat had a surprise litter. They have been handled since they were very young and are very used to people.
We think Miss Chia would love someone to play with, so a house with another friendly, playful cat (or a dog with the right introductions) would be perfect! Or you could consider adopting her sister Poppy to be her companion!
Some extra info about Chia:
* She is litter trained
* She would suit owners who work full time so long as she had another animal companion at home
* Must be an indoor cat only unless she has an enclosure to spend some time outdoors in
* Can only be adopted to the Newcastle/Hunter/Central Coast region as requires desexing before four months at a DRN allocated vet
* Chia is currently in foster care with her sister Poppy in Waratah West and is excited to meet her forever family!
*Her adoption fee is $200 (or $350 with her sister Poppy), which includes first desexing, vaccination, microchip, flea and worming treatment whilst in care.
