About Sweetie
You better believe this little girl is Sweetie by name and sweet by nature. This petite tabby (with ginger and apricot hues and striking green eyes) is desperately seeking her significant other. She craves attention and affection and will happily receive as many pats and scratches as you can give. She loves just hanging out with you while you’re working from home. When you aren’t looking too busy, she’ll try to coax you into some play time or to join her on a quick sprint into the next room.
While Sweetie is looking for a BFF, she is a confirmed single lady when it comes to other cats. She’s only interested in a new home where she is the only pet and can finally have the undivided attention she deserves. This little girl was born on the streets and did it tough in her early years. She has well and truly had enough of other cats bothering her.
Although Sweetie has adjusted to living in foster care, it has taken her a while to feel safe and secure and to get used to being in a house. She will need to be adopted by someone who will give her all the time and space she needs to settle into a new home. Her foster carer promises she is worth the wait!
Sweetie can’t be picked up yet and she isn’t quite convinced about sitting on your lap, but these domestic milestones are not far away. She never took up the offer of joining her foster family on the sofa because she refused to mix with the other foster cats in the house.
With your patience and care – and in her own time – Sweetie will become your fully-fledged domestic dream girl. Then, sometime in the more distant future, she would enjoy having access to the outdoors again. She currently goes outside for little adventures on her own in the garden. She doesn’t wander off and always comes back in. Sweetie has shown frustration with being an indoors only cat and would not be suited to apartment living without access to a garden. She is litter trained.

Please be aware that Paws and Recover is run by volunteers who also work. We endeavour to answer enquires as quickly as possible. Some animals will inevitably be very popular and will generate many enquires. Where there is a high volume of enquires received, it will be our priority to contact those that best fit the requirements of the animal. This may mean that it is not possible for all enquires to be answered. Please keep an eye on the website for all updates.
Providing quality information as a part of your enquiry including information about your home environment, family, work hours, other pets and what you are looking for in a companion animal along with what you can offer one will greatly assist.
Please always provide a contact phone number as a part of your enquiry.
