Leo

After having surgery to fix his knee, Leo is well onto the road of recovery and is ready to continue in his (so far) year-long search to find his special home.
So far, after 400 long days both in the shelter and in his foster home, his search has sadly been unsuccessful, so he thought he would share a little bit more about himself, as well as what he is looking for in his future home with the lovely people on the web in the hopes that one of you may be the one he is looking for.
At 12 years young, Leo is full of beans and has a lot of character. Despite his outgoing nature, he is very unsure of new people, and is looking for a very dedicated owner that will be willing to have multiple meet-and-greets at the shelter before he will be comfortable enough to interact with you.
He is a one-person kind of man who, once he bonds with that one person, they become the apple of his eye and his one purpose in life is to be next to that person wherever they may go. He will need a vigilant owner that will be prepared to manage Leo when there are guests visiting the home as well as out on his walks, and keep up with the training he has been receiving during his time at Blue Cross.
Here is Leo’s (very reasonable, in his opinion) list of requests for his future home:
A quiet household with only one owner that he can shower with love
An owner who is home a lot of the time
No other animals or children.
