Meet Gandalf - timid by nature, but comes alive through play! Although Gandalf is making leaps and bounds in care, new or loud things still scare him, and his forever family needs patience in settling him. Gandalf would prefer a quiet home with adults who can nurture his loving, curious side and indulge his playfulness. He enjoys chin scratches and will snooze alongside you but a lap cat he is not so far, and prefers all four feet on the ground. A day-time snoozer somewhere safe sets him up for an evening of play. A little rough when he's excited, fingers and toes are toys to him, but he responds to a firm no. Ping pong balls and cat wands are favourites. After slow introductions, he is tolerant of his foster old dog companion but he would best suit a home where there's not too much hustle and bustle or children.
