About Cullen
Meet Cullen. This boy is as lovely on the inside as he is on the outside!
Super sweet & affectionate, he loves cuddles and pats and putting his head on your chest and looking up into your eyes adoringly.
Cullen is dog friendly and enjoys a good play of chase or just to hand out with his doggy buddy. Tuggy and fetch are also favourite games to play. He would suit another larger and playful dog to live with. He has also lived with a toddler previously and was wonderful with them. Friendly to everyone he meets, he's a great all round dog.
He's done some training and knows sit, lie down, paw, on your bed and his recall is pretty good too. Also crate trained and he's quite smart and easily trainable as he's quick to pick things up and is food motivated. Ongoing training should be a breeze. He's also had sensory training, so is fine to clip his nails and check his ears or teeth without complaint. He can be easily handled all over.
He is great in the house, happy to lay on a bed or the lounge, doesn't touch anything he shouldn't and is house trained. He can be left alone inside the house (currently with another dog) whilst you go out and everything is there when you get home!
Cullen needs a good daily walk and some play time and will then be happy to laze in the sun or snooze the day away. He's a chilled out dude after some good exercise & stimulation. He loves water, splashing through puddles, putting his whole face in his water bowl and enjoys playing in the rain! He'd do very well in a home that is near a beach / river where he can swim often or you have a dam on your property.
He needs a home with another larger & playful dog, that is well balanced and stable to be a good role model for him and someone home often. He will need to be an inside / outside dog and sleep inside in his crate or a dog bed.
His new family should be dog experienced, preferably with large breeds and understand a dogs need for good physical & mental stimulation. He will enjoy being taken out on adventures and getting to do the fun things in life but as he gets car sick, it would be great if these are in walking distance or you can make interesting things at home for him to do or you're happy to help him manage this (he's been getting better).
Still a puppy, Cullen can have his exuberant times of puppy silliness and like any dog, will need clear set boundaries and expectations. He can pester the other dog in the home, so your dog will need to be patient and non reactive or put him in his place.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
