About Jack
MUST be adopted with Rose.
Hello there, I am Jack!!
I am Rose’s little brother who is full of joy, eager to discover the world, and has an abundance of love for others (humans, dogs, birds… you name it!). As a pup, I have lots of energy so I enjoy challenging and stimulating activities. These include exploring bushes during walks, doing a treasure hunt for treats in my crate, and solving chew puzzles.
It doesn’t take long to use up my energy. Two short walks will keep me well-exercised for the day. My current foster parents take me for walks in the morning before breakfast and the evening after dinner. I am highly adaptive so I can adjust quickly to my new family’s schedule.
Jack and Rose came to the rescue from a country pound, but have had a wide exposure to city life. The sound of cars scared them at first, but now they can enjoy sitting at the balcony where they can watch cars and people around. They are crate trained and sleep comfortably through the night, even during the fireworks on New Year’s Eve. They love being around their family, but will keep to themselves throughout the day.
Jack and Rose would suit a home where they are the only pets and preferably can spend a good part of the day with some company. They will also greatly benefit from a house with a backyard so that they still can enjoy walks and zoomies in the comfort of their own home.
As a bonded pair, Jack and Rose complement each other. Jack is a happy-go-lucky guy who calms Rose during their daily walks. And Rose’s obedient trait helps Jack adjust quickly into the family routine. They enjoy their time together and can keep each other company, although sometimes Rose gets annoyed by Jack’s mischief, but, that’s what siblings are for right?
