Hi! I'm Honey and I'm looking for a new family to call my own.

What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• A doggie playmate would be great, if not then lots of socialising with other dogs
• I appeared scared of cats when meeting them at the shelter however once my confidence around them grows I might be more inquisitive. If going to a home with a cat they must be dog savvy and we must be introduced slowly.
• I like both friendly male and female dogs
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• Lots of love and attention
• Being an active breed I have a lot of energy so an active family is a must!

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• Fowl - I will chase them

My best features:
• Wiggle butt
• Gentle & placid
• I can sit and shake hands on command
• I have had some basic obedience training and am a generally well-mannered dog
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• Happy to hang out with other dogs
• Social butterfly
• Love to snooze on the couch

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I can be strong on the lead - training and walking me in a halti or harness may stop this
• Honey has been known to dig, so a secure yard with measures in place to stop her digging her way out is best for her.

AN ADOPTION CAN'T BE APPROVED IF YOU HAVE CANNOT COME TO THE SHELTER TO MEET HONEY IN PERSON.

ANY EXISTING DOGS AT HOME MUST COME TO THE SHELTER TO MEET HONEY BEFORE AN ADOPTION CAN BE APPROVED
