About Holly ~ Bull Arab X Puppy(On trial 13/1/22)
EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST: Hi My name is Holly I am a female 11wk old Bull Arab mix puppy and I am looking for my forever home. I’m still quite young but I love to run and play with my sister and new foster doggy friends in a lovely big yard. My sister and I love to play tug of war with our toys and wrestle each other to see who wins the toy. Our foster mummy said we are beautiful natured pups.
I love a good treat and I usually get one cos I’m such a good girl. I like my food and I’m not an overly fussy eater. I love to wrestle with my sister I’m more slender than her which means I can run faster, which is good because I am learning to fetch a ball and bring it back, I love doing i fetching it’s so fun. I’m not fussed on loud noises they scare me a bit, this is really the only time I bark.
I am currently sleep with my sister at night time. I am toilet training really well and I like going outside on the grass but will still need more training for when I’m inside. I love to have a snuggle with my people and a good tummy scratch.
I like children, but my teeth are still a bit sharp and I’m going to be a large girl when I grow up and might accidentally hurt little children so I think I should be adopted to a family with children over 10 years old, or someone that had a lovely little fur companion for me to play with would be ideal as I love my foster play mates.
Before applying for me I have some questions for you to consider:
-Have you thought about loving and caring for me for the next 12-15 years - maybe even longer ?
-I am a furever dog not just a COVID dog
-I won’t be a small puppy for long and will get up to mischief as I become a teenager. Are you ready for that?
-Have you thought about my extra puppy meals throughout the day?
-Will somebody be home more often than not to keep me socialised?
-I will most likely be able to squeeze through small gaps so do you have solid fencing (5-6 foot) to keep me safe?
-I won’t suit an apartment , courtyards or a small yards but medium yards are fine as long as their is plenty of room to run and play in.
-Have you thought about my ongoing physical training and mental stimulation (enrichment games) so that I don't get bored and destructive?
-Will I have access to inside at all times to ensure that I am a part of your family?
I'm watching and learning from you from the moment I open my eyes.
I’ve been practicing my sit, come and recall to my name and love getting little rewards. I like being inside for a snuggle but love being outside to run around and play with lots of chew toys. Being under supervision means I learn boundaries (crucial as I grow older) and means I am less likely to develop nuisance behaviours due to boredom.
