About Ryder
Meet Ryder, ridgeback x puppy born on 10 of September 21.
This big boy has beautiful calm personality and will be a large sized dog when fully grown. He is currently living with his brother Gunner and another dog. Their carer takes them out and about everyday and they have been visiting people with dogs of all ages and sizes, a horse and going to the beach. They are always friendly, have a little play then lay down and patiently wait until it is time to go.
They have been living with my cattle dog whom they have become very attached too. They don't like being separated from him and it probably takes about 20 minutes before they accept being apart and settle down. They love just following their foster mum around the yard as she does her chores.
They have started basic training, sit, stay, come, toilet, bed, outside, car. They're coming along really well. They've been sleeping in a Queensland room with only a couple of accidents (the first couple of nights).
Ryder is more cautious than his brother. He needs a little bit of encouragement with water activities and jumping in & out of the car.But his confidence is growing. The first time he jumped into the dam and had to swim he scared himself. He is overcoming this and walking in the dam of his own accord now. A few more weeks and I think he will be a daredevil like Gunner. He is big sook who given half a chance will snuggle up and nibble on your ears.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272 to make an appointment and ask further questions.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the foster carers home or at a convenient location.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
