About Ditzy
Ditzy is one of the most friendly, affectionate & gorgeous kittens you could ever hope to meet. If he was able to spend all day in your arms, he would be one happy boy.
He thrives on attention & gives back so much affection, in fact he is probably one of the most affectionate kittens we have ever had. As you'll see from the pictures he is a little bit goofy, playful and fancies himself as a parrot and is happy to sit on your shoulder too! He is without a doubt one of a kind :)
Ditzy isn't with out challenges though...not that it seems to bother him. Being a white cat with blue eyes, Ditzy is deaf & since when do cats listen to what you say any how?
He is also an albino, meaning he has no melanin in his skin to protect him from sunlight.
For this reason, he needs to be kept away from windows where the sun shines through.
Ditzy is such a gorgeous boy, I cant understand why he is still here.
He will make a best friend & loyal companion for any number of people & will fit into most situations, as long as he is kept inside & away from strong sunlight.
Ditzy deserves a family of his own, as he has so much to give.
He came into care on Christmas Eve with our rescue after being surrendered to the vet. We will never know his early beginnings, but as he is very affectionate and attention seeking we can only guess he was dumped when his original owner realised he was deaf. As previously mentioned he is albino which has only just been diagnosed because his eyes become irritated when he is exposed to direct sunlight. Ditzy however does not understand what is means to be albino and although he is an inside only cat, he does like to sleep in the sunny spots by the window when he can find them!
Medical notes
Ditzy is deaf, but nothing slows him down!
He is also an albino, so needs to be kept out of sunlight as much as possible
Adoption details
If you would like to adopt a country pet there are a few requirements.
A chat with the foster carer is the first step to determine if the pet is the right one for you and your lifrstyle. A yard check while having a meet and greet is the next step and if all is satisfactory for all parties the adoption can go ahead.
The perfect home for each individual pet is essential, and the decision about which new home the pet goes to is made by the foster carer.
