About Bella
Bella is a stunning, sweet cattle dog with eyes that can melt the coldest of hearts. Seriously, she’s a beauty but she’s more than just her looks, she’s also wicked smart… picking up new skills super fast!
Arriving with almost no socialisation, Bella has had to play a game of catch-up to learn that the world isn’t as scary as she first thought. With time, patience and dedicated foster parents, Bella has made huge strides and is far more confident and social than she was when she first arrived.
Her cattle dog, working-dog traits are strong, and rounding up and nipping is something that does need to be managed but with a confident, trusted handler, Bella listens and picks up what is acceptable and well, not rather quickly. However experience with cattle dogs or similar is a huge plus!
Ideally, Bella is looking for an adult-only home with humans who are interested in having a faithful side kick! She could be someone’s “one and only” or could share her home with a confident, med-large breed dog. A quiet area is most suited to Bella as city life can be a little over stimulating for this working girl.
Daily exercise is an absolute must and she would absolutely thrive with a family who want a dog that they can do training with and challenge her with puzzles, tricks and brain games.
Bella is on the small side for a cattle dog, although she still has a little growing to do. She is not suitable for a home with children, cats or pocket pets and would much prefer a home with a yard over an apartment.
If you are looking for a drop dead gorgeous girl who will love you unconditionally, if you return the favour ;) look no further than Bella!
Bella is housetrained and good off-lead. When she meets other dogs she loves to romp and play. She also loves to go on excursions in the car.
If you would like to meet Bella, please send us as much information as possible about your family, lifestyle, working hours, etc. to sasrescue@gmail.com
