Bluey

Hi, my name is Bluey and I am a 2 year old Kelpie x Koolie. I am such a sweet, fun loving boy who loves to play with other dogs and chase a ball. I’ve lived a bit of a sheltered life and wasn’t exposed to much in my first 2 years. I am now learning to be ok with new things. I’ve been taken in by a nice family who is teaching me food manners, how to walk nicely on a lead, play gently with other dogs, cats and kids. I love kids, love to protect them but I can also be a bit of a goose and accidentally bump into little kids. I can also get a bit nervous if the little kids are being a bit crazy. When I’m stressed I don’t like it if you grab my collar quickly but I am learning to trust people.

I am now house trained and do very well being around my people. A family with older kids would be my dream home. I’ve also been around horses and sheep and while I’m a bit clueless about not walking around their legs, I don’t try and chase or bite them, in fact, I love to run and run in the paddock and I’m amazing and coming back to my name. I am so much happier now and I am ready to find my forever family, one that will give me lots of attention, exercise and boundaries.
