Lauder is a lovely girl.

She is highly excitable around other dogs and wants to play with every dog she meets. When she plays with other dogs she plays rough. Most dogs get sick of her hard core hip and shoulders quite quickly. She has a prey instinct which means she wants to chase birds during the day and rodents when we walk at night.

Lauder is still a pup and is quite excitable - especially when her humans arrive home. She has been learning about keeping all four paws on the ground but sometimes forgets this in her eagerness to see you again. For this reason, she would not suit a home with children.
She is also impulsive, like most Staffie, and will want to rush to meet new dogs, even it means crossing the road in front of vehicles. As such her handlers must be confident with restraining her.

Lauder has a lovely personality and temperament. Human beings are extremely important to her. She loves being with you, by your side or sprawled out by your feet. She walks nicely on the lead once she settles her excitement. She is extremely well toilet trained.

She knows, understands and responds to Down, Off, Kennel means time for bed, Come, Inside, Outside and No. She is learning stay at the moment. She is a very smart girl and motivated by pleasing her human. She loves to be praised and she works to please. Time, patience, repetition and praise will take this girl and you far. Positive reinforcement works really well with her. She sleeps outside at night and after she chases away the shadows with a small number of barks settles down for a full night.

This beautiful girl needs someone who will shower her with love, praise and make her a huge part of their world. She also has a little love heart on her nose which looks so cute.
