Crumpet and Stella

*In foster care in Forest Lodge, Sydney*

Sweet teddy bear Crumpet (aka Crumpie) is a gentle boy who loves his cuddles, play time and food – not in that order! Crumpet has the most adorable squeak (no meow) and will always let you know when he wants to be lifted into your arms, but he will also oblige any affection at any time. He is quite a floppy kitten and when picked up, just melts into your arms, all whilst purring up a storm. He absolutely loves to flop on his back and get belly rubs!

Stunning Stella (aka Stelly-Belly) is a super affectionate wild child. She is bursting with kitten energy, but this is met equally with a love of human attention. Stella loves snuggling up with you on the sofa, and will climb up into the crease under your neck to be as snuggly and close to you as possible. She will also climb up on to furniture to give her the best position possible to leap into your arms!

Although Crumpet is 1 week younger than his big sister Stella, boy can he give her a run for her money in the play department. This pair are perfectly matched in playful feistiness with one another. They both love to run, chase, and throw down all over the apartment before cuddling up for a nap together (or separately now it’s getting hot and humid). Both kittens will start purring up a storm as soon as they hear your voice – you don’t even need to touch them for their bellies to fill with buzzing bees!

Like all Maggie's pets, Stella and Crumpet will be microchipped, desexed and vaccinated before going to their new home.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will have lots of indoor space for us to play and run around in. We'd adapt quickly to most types of cat-loving households! You must also be willing to let us join you in the bathroom - one of our favourite things to do is sit in your lap (together) whilst you are on the loo. Stella will jump up on her own, but Crumpet will politely squeak at you or touch your leg as a request to be air lifted into your lap – both purring up a storm!

MY ENERGY LEVEL: We definitely adore jumping, chasing and sprinting full-pelt through the apartment - but this is also matched with a need for pats, cuddles and snuggles. Stella has the most energy, but she is also the one who will seek you out the most for endless snuggles! She especially likes to be in your lap/on the desk if you work from home.

MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: We are still tiny babies who require careful handling, but we're both very friendly. We are not huge fans of loud energetic kids, so calm school aged kids and upwards would be best.

MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: We are in foster care with another cat, and both would love to be friends with her (especially Crumpet) but she doesn’t like us very much (she’s old and grumpy!). We haven't had the chance to meet any dogs but as long as they are gentle and friendly, I don’t see any problems with us getting along.
