About Porky
Hello everyone, my names Porky and you guessed it by my name I love my food! I was saved from a rural pound with my siblings. My Brother found the most perfect home and I hope to do the same.
When I first arrived, I was absolutely terrified it took me a really long time to trust that humans weren’t out to hurt me anymore. My foster mums been very persistent and slow with getting to know me, it takes me a while to warm up but once I do, I am an absolutely fun loving spunk.
I need a home without children all those hands coming at me can be terrifying and it reminds me too much of my past and I can revert back to my old ways of hiding, I can be very selective with people, more of a lady’s man but I’m sure I can warm up to a gentle man if he has bacon or chicken to offer. Bribery is the key! I can be a little jumpy with loud noises, but you just tell me its ok and the fear will soon pass, as long as I have you I know ill be ok.
Once I have settled into your home I can be very adventurous, love to roam and run the house trying to find you for an afternoon chat.
I love and respect other cats so would do well in a home with another cat but I think I would also love a home on my own with just you! You and me together taking on the world one movie at a time what do you think? Could be the perfect duo.
Ill need a home that has time, patience, and a lot of love to bring out the very best in me, it may take awhile but I’m worth it. I love to play with those fluffy things on a stick they are my absolute favourite things to chase and jump on.

Please ensure all corresponding documentation, such as vet work for existing animals & lease agreements are provided with the completed application to avoid any delays
Applications are not approved on a first in, best dressed basis, rather we will assess on your suitability. Should we believe that the animal you have applied for may not suit your home or lifestyle, we will work with you until we find your perfect match.
Upon approval of your application, we will pass your contact details onto the carer and they will liaise with you to arrange a meet & handover. Prior to the handover, an adoption contract will be emailed to you along with copies of vet work & our bank details. The signed adoption agreement & payment of the adoption fee is required prior to the animal leaving with you. We offer a two-week trial period, and the full adoption fee, minus an administration fee will be refundable if the adoption is cancelled within those two weeks.
At the end of the two week adoption trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
