Posy is a soft grey tabby girl with a will all of her own. Posy loves to be admired from afar and she likes to pick and choose when it is time for affection from people.
Posy prefers to come to you when she wants cuddles rather than the other way around. Pick her up when she’s not in the mood for cuddles and she will let you know she’s not happy about it. But we admire a girl who knows what she wants!
Posy takes a little time to warm up to new people but when she does and the mood strikes her, Posy will happily curl up next to you on the sofa while you give her gentle strokes until she falls asleep.
This independent streak has been evident from the first day she came into care as one of a litter of kittens dumped in a public park on a main road in Noble Park North. Thankfully Posy and her sisters (lily and Dahlia, both listed on Pet Rescue) recovered from their ordeal and have put their rough start behind them.
These days you’re likely to find Posy curled up in a sunny spot by the window – usually by herself. Posy likes her own company so she would do well as an only cat in a home that respects her need for “me time”.
Posy is not a big fan of young children and she has not been tested on dogs so we do not recommend either for this girl. She is social with other cats but only to a certain extent. With the right slow and careful introductions, Posy could be a good quiet companion to your cat. She would also be great in a home of only adults.
Posy is the most vocal of her sisters but her meow is relatively quiet. She is very much her own cat and she values her quiet time away from everyone to sit and contemplate the world. Posy is an exceptionally pretty girl who is very photogenic and looks great from every angle.

Adoption details
HOW TO ADOPT FROM US:
1. Email dandycatrescue@yahoo.com and request an adoption form to be sent to you, fill it out and return it to us. We’ll be in touch!
2. If your application is successful, we’ll make arrangements for you to visit our cats and kittens at our foster carer’s home.
3. We ask that you pay the nominated fee to us via online bank deposit either at the adoption day or at the home visit (preferred), or in cash. We do not accept eftpos, credit or debit card transactions at this stage.
4. You will be provided with a folder of paperwork for your new kitty upon adoption. Your adoption fee includes a Central Animal Records Change of Ownership that is completed by us online two weeks after the adoption.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
