Meet Nulla. She’s been in care with us since a horrific dog attack left her seriously injured. Anyone following our page will remember her story, but a quick background - after spending more than a week at the vets having surgery on her wounds (especially her ear) she came to us for rehab. We soon realised she was pregnant, so then we nursed her through that. She delivered 10 healthy puppies and looked after them amazingly well. Now it’s her turn!

She’s extremely loyal and loving, and will spend every minute with you if you let her. Quite shy in the beginning, she soon relaxes and bonds quickly. As a previous camp dog, she has never spent any time alone, either having other dogs or humans around all the time, so hasn’t learnt to cope with it. For this reason, we’d like either a large family or existing dogs to be in her new home. She will adapt, and while in foster care could be left while the humans went to work. BUT she did have her puppies and 2 foster brothers for company. She can be initially standoffish with other dogs, but after a week or so will start engaging in play - almost as though she doesn’t understand that she’s allowed.

She’s interested in cats, but will listen to them when they tell her they’re not interested in her! As for kids, she adores them and they all seem to love her. She walks well on the lead, and really enjoys getting out and about, but doesn’t need a lot of exercise.

This girl has had it really tough, and we think she deserves the very best now. A family that will include her in everything they do, that will be strict when necessary to help her curb that bit of separation anxiety, but will have the patience to give her the time to settle in and relax. She’ll repay you with the purest love and affection - everyone who has had a hand in this girl’s care has unequivocally fallen in love with her.
