About Sophia Spud
MUST GO TO A HOME WITH ANOTHER DOG
We would like to introduce you to Ms Sophia Spud. She is a 12 months old, medium size Spitz x Shepherd. Unfortunately, her life prior to coming into our care was one of little socialisation and no basic training. She was also pregnant with 5 youngsters.
This young Mum was quite unprepared for the challenges of motherhood and has found the Spud kids quite overwhelming. But now, thank goodness, the kids have stopped pestering, poking, and prodding her and Ms Spud is ready to move on to a new family.
Sophia will need to be adopted by an experienced owner as she is quite anxious and will need strict structure in her daily life. Sophia needs daily exercise which she loves and taken on little excursions in the car. She is very affectionate and would be a great cuddling companion. Sophia will need another small to medium size, confident, and well-adjusted canine companion as she loves romping and playing.
Sophia is housetrained and walks well on the lead and like all of our dogs must have access inside at all times and sleep inside in a warm area of the home of a night.
We believe she would be OK with a family with children over 10, and possibly with a dog-friendly cat.
If you would like to meet Sophia, please send us the information as possible about your family, lifestyle, existing dog and pets, experience with dogs, etc. via email sasrescue@gmail.com so we can see if you and Sophia are a good match.
