About Rhane
Rhane is our resident chunky boy! His beautiful white coat, dark brown eyes and wiggle bum make for a killer combo.
Rhane will do absolutely anything for a cuddle and has a gorgeous gentle demeanour. He is playful with his people and other dogs and loves his toys. Around the house he is learning inside means calm and what he is and isn’t allowed to chew and play with.
He is doing well with his basic training and his toilet training is coming along well. Of course his new owners should be prepared for a few accidents as he is still young. He is sleeping well in his crate at night but does love a snuggle on the bed or couch with his people.
Rhane has come from rural NSW so the big world of Sydney is completely new to him. He is taking it all in his stride and loves going out for walks in the suburbs and nothing seems to really phase him. His new family should understand he may be a little unsure in new or busy environments and have the experience to help him navigate these situations.
While in care he has been living with a young child and a Labrador. He has been brilliant with both. He can get a little bit jumpy and nippy when excited like a typical puppy, so older kids are preferred but he would do fine with dog savvy kids who won’t mind being bumped into occasionally. The Labrador he lives with isn’t overly playful and even at his young age Rhane respects this and backs off playing if he is told enough by the other dog. His new owners should socialise him appropriately as although he is dog social he hasn’t had a lot of exposure with other dogs and putting him into situations like dog parks too quickly will be too much for this sweet boy.
This boy has been a dream in care and will make an amazing family dog. From day one in care he just slot into family life and will be the perfect dog for someone looking for a buddy to take on daily adventures. He would love a home with a yard and either another confident and friendly dog for company or someone home more often than not. He is not for first time dog owners due to his lack of exposure as a young puppy. He will need to be a mainly indoor dog due to his colouring. He will also require a warm, comfy bed inside to sleep on of a night.
If you think you are the right family for sweet Rhane head on over to our Fetching Dogs website and fill out an adoption enquiry form as the next step.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
