About Stella
Hi there,
My name is Stella and I am on the lookout for my furever home.
I am a friendly little girl who sometimes gets referred to as a jack in the box. I love to play a good game of fetch with the staff here at the RSPCA. I love
going for bush walks where its nice and quiet and lots of smells. I am a very clever and have learnt how to get my food out of puzzle feeders, so would
love to keep being challenged with different feeders.
I would best be suited to a home with no other dogs. I have had social walks during my time at the shelter but much prefer to be a solo dog. I would love
to go on a quiet bush walk where there are not too many dogs around.
I would really love a home where I can continue my training. I know basic cues, but would love to continue to learn more. This would also help to keep my
mind busy during the day, as well has playing lots of fun games of tug and fetch.
I would best be suited to a mature household with no kids under 16. I can be a bit shy at times so would prefer to have my own space and have a nice
quiet/calm household where I can spend the days playing in the backyard with my toys or falling asleep on the ground soaking up the sun. I can
sometimes be a little jumpy when I haven't seen you in a while, but can very easily be distracted if you have food or toys.
I would love to have an experienced owner that can help me to build up a little bit of confidence as I can be unsure at times. If you have had kelpies or
other working breeds before that would be a bonus.
If you have a Stella shaped hole in your heart please come and visit me at the shelter...I would love if you brought a few little yummy treats for me too.
