About Albert (Albie)
Albert is roughly 6 months old and came into care approximately two months ago. When he first arrived, he was extremely underweight but with lots of TLC he is now a healthy, beautiful, playful and loving pup. Regardless of having a tough start to life, he has never faltered from his sweet, happy temperament. His favourite things are to play with his foster brothers and snuggle up of a nighttime. He currently lives with a very big dog and a very small dog and loves them both. He also lives with two cats and is absolutely fine with them. Actually, he just gets on with everyone.
Albert is very much still in the puppy stages, so his cheeky puppy habits will need some ongoing training. But these puppy antics are perfectly normal behaviours. He needs a family that can appreciate and have a laugh when he pinches a shoe, the toilet paper or similar. A family that understand the need for puppy stimulation and plenty of toys is what we are looking for.
Albert is a big goofy pup. He’s a bit clumsy while he grows into his feet 😂 He will be a big dog once fully grown, but lanky not solid. Like many larger breeds, he has just a beautiful temperament and would easily win your heart. We’d prefer he gets a family with at least one other dog or someone who likes to play and have fun.

* Rent or own your home? Written agreement is required by your landlord/real estate for rental properties outlining that dogs are allowed. Our dogs and pups will only be adopted to homes where they are allowed inside to be part of the family. Real Estate approvals must state that this is permitted.�
* Opportunities for socialization outside the home? Whilst some of our dogs are best in only dog homes, most of our dogs have been provided with lots of socialisation and will need this to be ongoing.
* Work commitments? How long will the dog be on their own? �
* Why do you think this breed will be suitable for you? Breed type experienced owners will generally be given priority.
* Will you allow this pooch to live both inside and outside as part of the family? �
* Yard check will be done to confirm you have a fully fenced secure yard and adequate shelter when the dog or pup is outdoors.
Wally's Doggie Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family. He/she will be desexed,1st and 2nd vaccination, microchiped, wormed and flea treated regularly and a health check done by our vet .
