About Gypsy~ 1yr Old JRTxCattle Dog(Rev. apps 4/1/22)
Are you a Cattle Dog lover, but now in a position where you need a smaller dog? Gypsy might just be the dog for you! Gypsy is a 1 year old female Cattle Dog x Jack Russell. At only 10 kg she is a bundle of love in a small package.
Gypsy wants to be your shadow. She is a lively, happy, clever and loving girl. She loves going for walks, jumping on your lap and learning new tricks. She likes playing with a ball, throwing toys around and is good with dogs, cats and older children. Once she has got over the initial excitement of going for a walk, she walks nicely in her harness and doesn’t pull.
Up to now Gypsy has mainly been an outside dog and sleeps in her kennel. She would however, love to become an inside dog and will need some continuing toilet training, but with her clever nature this is something that Gypsy should pick up quite quickly.
Gypsy is looking for a home where there is either another friendly dog to keep her company, or family members who are home more often than not and will continue on with her training and daily walks. Gypsy also loves going for a swim! Due to her young age and still learning to not jump up, Gypsy is not suitable for families with children under 8. Gypsy is not an escape artist and does not try to jump fences or dig under them.
For more information on Gypsy, please contact her foster carer Jenny via their email editor@horsewyse.com.au Gypsy is in foster care in East Maitland, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Gypsy’s adoption fee is $500 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Gypsy please fill out the adoption application form here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt.
