Hi, my name is Nova!

Nova is an intelligent and sweet bull Arab cross. She is very affectionate - loves people and attention! You will melt when you look into her eyes!

Nova wants a family to call her own! She will happily join you on the lounge or on the bed for a snuggle or hang with you when you are on the computer or watching TV. She is a companion dog and will be your best friend!

She needs to have a large safe enclosed yard to call home.
Nova walks well on lead and loves her walks! She sometimes will stop to observe her surroundings, but is easily encouraged to keep moving on her walks.

Nova is good with dogs if they are introduced to her. She is being taught to sit before crossing a road; and knows the ‘wait’ command at the front door. Sometimes her curious nature will send her roaming if not on a lead or safe at home.

Nova loves her food! She will sit and wait for the command before eating from her dinner bowl though prefers to eat her dinner and bones alone away from other dogs. When special treats are to be given out she knows they are to be shared and she will wait her turn to be hand fed.

Nova was introduced to the foster family cat slowly and is curious and tolerant of the cat. And she will happily lie on the bed with the cat! Nova LOVES car drives with her human family and is a great passenger!

Nova enjoys playing with her buddy dog Lex, and to understand play growl communication. Nova enjoys soft toys and will engage in a tug-of-war and chases. She is even starting to go and get a ball, though is not sure what to do with it! She loves shallow water at the river and the beach, but steers clear of swimming in deep water.

Nova is looking for an experienced and loving dog owner due to her nature and her strength. Nova will be great with either one person or in a family. She just wants to belong! Nova would benefit from continued training and social interaction. She gives us unconditional love as she will you!
