On Hold
About Prue - 10 week old (on trial 14/01/22)
Prue was rescued all the way from Moree pound with her mum and three sisters.
Personality:
Has taken quite a while to come out of her shell, but her personality is starting to blossom
Loves curling up on your chest and lap
Loves a good sneak attack and wrestle with her sister and foster siblings. But she’s still a bit smaller than her sister so she gets tired faster and has trouble letting her know when she’s had enough.
She would be best suited to a home where she will have someone to sleep with. So either another pet to curl up with, or with a human in their bed, as she will cry all night if you put her in a crate or a different room alone.
When she’s intrigued in what your doing, she will sit up and look at you for ages until she falls asleep still sitting up. (Really cute)
Needs
If Prue is alone without her sister she will cry and shake, so she needs to go to a home with someone that is home more often than not, or a home with another pet.
Other animals and kids
Prue absolutely loves one of the resident dogs she’s in care with. She warmed up to her straight away.
It’s not essential, but she would love to go to a home with another pet, either cat or dog, but preferably one that is calmer.
The barking sometimes startles her but she’s getting much better with it.
Prue would be suited to go to a home with children of any age. So long as they can be gentle with her size. She has met two toddlers and is great with them.
Prue is an indoor cat only unless she has a secure enclosure to spend time outdoors in. She is a happy and healthy little girl who is perfectly litter trained.
.Prue will need to be adopted a home in the Newcastle/Hunter/Central Coast region so that she can be returned to a DRN vet for desexing when she is approximately 4 months old. Her adoption fee is $250 (or $450 as a pair!) which covers her desexing, first vaccination, microchip and flea and worm treatment.
Prue is in foster care in New Lambton Heights and is looking forward to meeting her forever family! To apply for Prue please fill out an application form here: https://form.jotform.co/93127959159875
