About Piper (on trial 14/01/22)
Piper was rescued all the way from Moree pound with her mum and three sisters.
Personality:
She was very shy coming into care, but came out of her shell pretty quick.
Very curious about everything
Playful
Loves wrestling with sister and foster siblings (dogs and cat)
Once she warms up she is very confident
Loves head scratches
Purrs every time you walk into the room that she’s in
Sleeps anywhere and everywhere
Loves walking across the laptop when your trying to work
Needs:
Piper needs to go to a home where she will be included and get a lot of attention, or have another pet to play with.
Other animals and kids
Piper would love a home with another cat to tumble around with, but one that can tell her when enough is enough, as she doesn’t understand her sister queues when she’s done playing.
She is great with dogs, she only took a couple days of slow introductions to warm up to the resident dogs.
The barking doesn’t bother her anymore
Piper would be suited to go to a home with children of any age. So long as they can be gentle with her size. She has met two toddlers and is great with them.
Piper is an indoor cat only unless she has a secure enclosure to spend time outdoors in. She is a happy and healthy little girl who is perfectly litter trained.
Piper will need to be adopted a home in the Newcastle/Hunter/Central Coast region so that she can be returned to a DRN vet for desexing when she is approximately 4 months old. Her adoption fee is $250 (or $450 as a pair!) which covers her desexing, first vaccination, microchip and flea and worm treatment.
Piper is in foster care in New Lambton Heights and is looking forward to meeting her forever family! To apply for Piper please fill out an application form here: https://form.jotform.co/93127959159875
