About Tassie
These sensational ears belong to TASSIE, a classic black and tan kelpie pup, born around 7 July 2021.
Tass is a compact little dog and when fully grown will probably be no more than 15 kgs.
True to his breed, he is mild-mannered, sweet-natured and very clever. A little shy and timid until he gets to know you, he soon warms up and allows his affectionate temperament to shine through. However, he has an independent streak and is definitely not needy.
Tass is very dog-friendly but is untested with cats. He loves the company of humans, especially women and children, and would make a delightful companion or family dog.
To be happy and content, Tassie will need plenty of daily exercise and mental stimulation. Secure fencing is a must.
He is best-suited to a home where someone is around most of the time and/or there is another compatible dog to play with. Prior breed experience will be highly regarded.

Tassie's adoption fee is $695 and he was recently desexed, vaccinated and microchipped.
Adoption details
Dogs:
(1) The first step is to complete the online adoption application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ Please answer all questions and include photos of your yard and fencing.
(2) All applications will be considered by our Adoption Team, following which a "meet and greet" will be offered to the top-ranking applicant.
(3) The "meet and greet" is held in Warwick, Queensland. If successful, the applicant may adopt the dog and take him or her home the same day.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
