It’s my turn to melt some hearts ❤️❤️❤️

I may be slightly overweight (but trust me, my foster mum is working on that), and I may be looking for a home to live out my ‘senior’ years…..but I am such a lovable, loyal and handsome boy who wants nothing more than to be your constant companion 🥰

My name is Dusty….and I’m a 10yr old Border Collie who would prefer to be your one and only at home. I love the quiet, easy going lifestyle and prefer the laid back life in the country, rather than the noise and fast paced lifestyle of the city. Sirens, fireworks and noisy environments just gives me anxiety, which in turn, will give you anxiety….

I have great recall and respond well to my name. If you ask me to sit, I will do so (especially if treats are involved 😉). I do still enjoy my walks, and not really phased by other dogs walking by, but cats may get my attention….

Every so often (generally in Winter), my legs get a little achy, due to what they call ‘osteoarthritis’, but with some weekly injections (over 4 weeks) as we get closer to the cooler months, my legs feel great again! Unfortunately, this will be something my new family will need to add to the budget each year, because I definitely need it (I promise it won’t break the bank).

Not sure if these pictures capture my cheekiness, but whilst I can charm the pants off anyone with my smile, I need to mention my obsession with food 😕 Leaving me indoors while you just race out to do some errands is probably not the best idea….There is nothing wrong with my sense of smell, and your kitchen soon becomes my kitchen lol. Food is most certainly my focus and I will find it! No one’s perfect though, right?

I’ve spent quite a lot of time with my foster family this year and I truly love them…even the kids. They are my world…but, as much as they love me back, it’s not my forever home and they would love to see me living my best life, in a place where I feel comfortable 🥰

I would be great for an older couple or person who are also in their retirement years and looking for a companion….on property would be nice 😉 or maybe you work from home and wanting some company while you work…..On property would be nice 😉 just please don’t expect me to work cattle or sheep….I’m RETIRED 😂

Fencing is a must….I need to be kept safe, and although I’m in my senior years, there is life in these legs! I’d be struggling to get over anything above 5ft, but as long as I’m in my happy place, I’ll be by your side ❤️
