Handsome Grug is looking for his forever home.

Whilst in care, he has loved his new inclusive home life and being showered in hugs and kisses.

Grug would greatly benefit from a confident family with giant breed experience.

He is wary and sometimes fearful of new people as he has not previously been socialised. But once he is comfortable around people and knows he is safe, he is always eager to stop and say hello.

Grug's confidence has grown in leaps and bounds since being in care and absolutely loves his walks, but is still showing leash reactivity due to fear. With time and allowing him to trust you, he will settle. Food diversion often helps with this.

This big boy is dog friendly, but being young, his manners are still sometimes lacking so an only dog home would suit him until he has matured and been socialised adequately.

Grug is happy to stay at home whilst his carer is at work, but will require lots of stimulation and a big yard for him to run around in. However, once his family is home, he would prefer to spend time with his people at home until it's time for his walk.

At 61kg, Grug is still a growing boy and his new family must be comfortable with a dog who will reach approximately 70kg once fully grown.

Grug's ideal family will have mastiff experience (slobber and all) and be able to commit to his ongoing training and socialisation to help him be the best big boy he can be.
