About Rusty AND Bluey
Rusty Redhead, yep that's me in the photos, the pretty one. My boofy headed brother is Bluey. We are both cattle dog x's and are nine years old. We have been together our whole lives so it's a package deal - you get to adopt both of us.
Don't be fooled by our age, we have plenty of juice in the tank and can keep up with all the play and walks that you would like to share with us. Bluey is on a diet but once he drops those winter kilos, look out, racing and chasing is on the cards.
We would like to become members of your family please. I am a bit more cattle dog velcro than the aloof Bluey boy, but we both want to find a home where we are included in activities! We love going to the beach, we could cheer on your local footy team in the winter from the sidelines, take you out to cafes, go on bushwalks and garden inspection walks around our neighborhood. We are also great campers but really only loving the great outdoors if its with you. At night, we both want to be tucked up inside, safe from all the outside noises.
So, Bluey is a cattle dog x lab so he eats anything and everything and that's why he is on a diet. I am a cattle dog x kelpie so I know I could lose a couple of kilos as well to get back to my svelte and sleek figure. I love to play ball and I will even bring it back to you, Bluey plays ball sometimes, he mainly likes tug rope games and food related games - no surprise there!
We both love getting out and about and travel really well without barking or being silly. We are both social butterflies, can play with any dog without a worry and always Bluey is always mooching for extra pats from people at the park.
Our previous owner put in some good training as we both have awesome recall to our names. We can do basic commands and foster Mum is teaching us both how to walk on lead nicely, still a bit more training needed on this front. We are awesome inside and outside the house. No destruction or digging, no excessive barking or whining, just a couple of nine years olds looking for a family to love us.
Lets walk, run or jump into 2022 together as a family and get our happys on. We are ready to leave foster care and come home to our new family.
