Bowie

This beautiful boy is a little bit timid at first but is a complete sweetheart who just wants love and affection and to be close to his people at all times. Bowie has been an outside dog.

He walks well on a lead and plays well with other dogs and tolerates cats. We have taken him to the river a few times on the lead and he loves to get in and get wet. He's not too interested about water play in the backyard as he keeps clear when we’re playing with our Labrador.

Bowie loves his food his treats. He likes to take himself on adventures if the fences are not up to scratch so we need him to go to a home where there is a well fenced yard (six food colorbond). If he does slips out he will bolt but he does come back eventually. Someone home a lot of the time and/or another dog for company will help him to settle into a new home.

Bowie is a good guard dog and will let you know if someone comes to the yard but is not aggressive towards anyone that I’ve noticed. He was really good with the food protection test but got a bit growly when our dog got near his bone which is pretty normal.

Bowie is just looking for someone who is going to completely love him and he has the potential to be an awesome inside dog with a bit more training as he only knows basic commands.
