About Sparrow & Wren
Meet the bold and beautiful calico kitten Sparrow - the youngest of her litter but easily the most outgoing and adventurous of the lot. Sparrow loves to play quite vigorously and she's never met a piece of furniture she couldn't conquer and get to the top of - her favourite activity is climbing. Sparrow has tons of energy and needs lots of playtime and interaction to help you get a peaceful night's sleep - she will practice her pouncing on anything that moves so have toys on hand lest your feet and fingers suffer. The old adage ""naughty torti"" most definitely applies to this cheeky girl (technically a calico but oh well). Her tough girl exterior is betrayed by her secret love of cuddles, especially with other cats. She likes human pats and cuddles too but she's a real cat's cat. Sparrow will eat mostly anything but needs a slower dietary transition from one food to another and she tends to gobble down food and make herself a bit spewy. She was the first kitten in the pack to get the hang of eating proper food, using litter, walking, playing - everything really - so Miss Independent doesn't need any help with all that. Sparrow has absolutely gorgeous markings with a few speckles under her eye giving her a very distinctive look and she will squeak at you in the most adorable way if she's not pleased with her play being interrupted. She will be an absolute delight for any cat owner willing to put in the time with her.
Wren is a gorgeous (and rare!) ginger girl with a sweet and sort of dopey nature. Absolutely stunning and bright orange and white, Wren is a real looker. She is quite happy to go along with the crowd so if it's time to play, she will play. If it's time to eat, she'll do that too. And if you pick her up and place her somewhere for a pat and cuddle, she will just as happily be on board with that. This means she was sometimes happy to get into scrapes with her naughtier sister but couldn't quite follow through with getting herself out of them so a positive cat role model might help this little one with making good decisions in the ways of being a cat. She has never been a fussy eater or sleeper and hasn't demonstrated any picky habits. Wren likes to play with toys that allow her to stretch her legs chasing and jumping rather than lie back and swat at something. She'll let you know she's having a nice time with some gentle purring but overall she's quite quiet - a very content little cat who owners and visitors will adore and admire. Wren is such a happy little thing, she would benefit from a lot of gentle love and affection - which you will receive back in abundance from her.
Sparrow and Wren are healthy raw fed kittens who have been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (Sparrow microchip #991001004570317, Wren microchip #991001004570305, source #RE101165). They are available for adoption right now! Her adoption fee also includes her second vaccination at one of our rescue vets.
