The first thing you need to know about me is that I recently became a tripod! I sadly had a injury that resulted in my hind left leg being broken. My vets made the decision that it would be best for my leg to be amputated. I am doing great and adjusting to my new life very easily. I would love a home of my own to fully recover in and live my new three legged life!
What I need in my new home:
• To be kept inside at all times so I'm always safe from harm
• INSIDE ONLY CAT
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• Toys, enrichment & mental stimulation
• Lots of love and attention
• Happy to live with older children
• Happy to live with another friendly cat
• Regular grooming so I'm always looking my best
Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be allowed outside where I may be hurt by cars or dogs
• Small children due to my rough play

Medical notes
Due to a recent injury Velma had to have her hind left leg amputated. Although she is doing wonderful and has learnt to adapt to her new lifestyle very quickly.

Due to Corona Virus restrictions Shoalhaven Animal Shelter is open by appointment only. To meet one of our pets please call prior to arrange an appointment time. 44293410
For information regarding any of our animals please call Shoalhaven Animal Shelter on 02 44293410 and talk with any of the staff regarding adoption process and fees. Alternatively please visit us at 19 Nowra Hill Road Nowra Hill ( Just off BTU Rd) we are open 9am-4pm everyday.
All dogs and cats are Microchipped and de-sexed before leaving our shelter.
*** NOTE: Animals can be placed on hold for travel time ONLY. If you are interested in a particular animal please contact us on 02 4429 3410 prior to leaving to ensure the animal is still available for adoption and we will pop them on hold until your arrive.
