About Nero- 11 Week Male Kitten (on trial 12/01/22)
Nero arrived in foster care a couple of weeks before Christmas with his brother Kevin. At first, Nero was timid and hid in the cat tunnel.
Fast forward 2 weeks and Nero is the brains of the operation. Nero is confident and full of beans and constantly wants to play tips. He loves nothing more than zooming all over the living room, racing up the cat tower, and leaping across the couches. Nero sleeps when he is exhausted, tangling up in bed with his foster brother.
Nero loves playing with shiny toys, and small balls that he can bat and chase along the floor.
Nero has been fearless with the resident cat and toy poodle.
He would be fine as an only cat or would confidently try to make friends with existing pets.
Nero was introduced to the little people across the street and was very gentle and tolerant with them. When they started to chase him or he'd had enough he hid in places they couldn't reach.
Nero would be suited to a family with children aged 5 and over. He isn't a fussy eater and is a good boy with his litter tray.
Nero's adoption fee is $250, which includes first vaccination, desexing, microchipping, worming and flea treatment whilst in foster care.
Nero can only be adopted to a home in the Newcastle/Hunter/Central Coast region, so that he can be returned to a DRN affiliated vet for desexing when he is approximately 4 months old.
Nero is an indoor cat only unless he has a cat enclosure to spend some time outdoors in.
Nero is currently in foster care in Cardiff.
