Meet Spice!

Spice is a stunning 10-month-old little man who craves affection and love. His favourite thing to do is curl up with his foster family in bed, giving them endless head bobs and kisses.

Spice is a lot more "chill" than his flavoursome name entails, he is a little bit of a night owl, and you may not see him during the day, which means he is perfect for someone who works 9 to 5 and is looking for a night companion.

Spice has had an unfortunate start to life, and it has taken him a little while to learn that humans are friends and mean him no harm. Due to Spice's rough past, he will need someone patient and understanding. Spice can take a moment to become comfortable with someone new and most likely will hide in a new environment while working out that he is safe. However, once Spice knows you, he's a genuine laugh and little love bug and will be a "purrrrrrrfect" addition to any home.

Spice has been quite stressed and overwhelmed, but he sure has come a long way! He is a friendly boy; however, it takes time for him to build up confidence around humans. He accepts full-body pats, but this affection must only be on his terms. Therefore, it is super important that his owners have experience reading cat body language. Lots of positive interactions will help him build confidence, so using plenty of positive reinforcement will help him bond with my owners in his new home!

To ensure he does not become too overwhelmed, Spice will need a safe room and a slow transition to my new home environment. His new home should ideally be calm and quiet with plenty of routine and stability as this will help me become comfortable and develop my confidence.

Spice has not been around dogs, and due to his timid nature, he would be most suited to a family with no dogs and no small children. Preferably a home with another cat that can help Spice settle him and continue to assist him in trusting humans. Spice loves other cats and immensely enjoys playing and snuggling with his foster sister.

Spice is a perfect gentleman when using his litter box and keeps himself clean and well-presented. He has a great appetite and is not in the slightest fussy with either. Spice comes fully vet-worked (desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worming treatments) as well as a super handy adopter's pack on their big day to assist you with an easy transaction.

Spice is an indoor only cat and is currently living in Raymond Terrace
