Well hello there! I'm River, a sweet and sensitive soul on the lookout for my purr-fect match. A calm and quiet home with someone who I know I can open up to and show my truly affectionate self to!

It takes me time to adjust and relax in my new castle. After all, everything is so big and new and I'm just little me! Patience, kindness, and gentle encouragement from my new human will go a long way to make me feel at ease. Allowing me some space and places to hide will help me feel a bit more safe.

Oh, and some warm, cooked chicken won't hurt either... the way to my heart is certainly through my stomach. :)

One I'm settled in, you can see the real me! I love being affectionate and asking for some gentle attention. Plenty of head bunts, chin scritches, and purring are in the future, I just know it.

When I come home, I'll need to be an indoor kitty. Don't you fret, that sounds wonderful to me - taking a cat-nap on a couch, lazing in a sunbeam, watching the world from my favourite window... there's plenty to enjoy!

No other dogs or young children please. But I love talking to other cats! I certainly wouldn't mind if there's another social kitty already at home. :)
