This is DOC..

Doc is a 12 year old mini fox. He came into care after being found wandering the streets in terrible condition. It was clear that DOC had suffered years of neglect and we were so glad that he had found his way to us.

We set about making DOC's life much more comfortable. Apart from lots of TLC, Doc had to undergo quite a bit of veterinary intervention. He was given a blood test to determine his overall state of health and happily, there were no surprises there, his overall health is good. Doc then underwent a full dental to help him be more comfortable and be able to enjoy his food. While he was asleep Doc also was desexed. Doc's skin condition began to respond to twice weekly baths with a medicated shampoo. He still has a little way to go with this, but overall he looks so much better.

Since coming into care, Doc has gone from a sad little boy to a happy Chappy who now loves to play and enjoys short walks and cuddle time. Doc wasn't house trained when he came to us so we have been working on this, but in the meantime, Doc happily wears his belly band while he is inside.

We are now looking for that special person who can continue to love and care for this golden oldie for the rest of his life. We think Doc deserves to know the comfort and peace of being wanted.
