Hi I’m Tank!

I’m a big strong boy who loves to cuddle. I’ve recently been crate trained so I spend a lot of time in there with food toys, which are my favourite!

I need someone tough to take me on walks because I am so strong. I have a foster sister who I love to play with but sometimes I forget how strong I am, so I always have to be supervised. I would probably prefer to be the only dog in your life because I love all the treats and attention for myself. I could live with another doggy sibling if I had lots of time for myself in my crate and was supervised while playing.

I still need some training. I just can’t help myself when I’m around food! I take it from the bin, on the bench and sometimes the grocery bags if I get the chance.

I’m much better at going to the toilet outside now, although I do have some accidents. My favourite place to do my business is on a walk and sometimes I’ll hold it until will go.

I do forget how big I am sometimes so I will walk on you a bit when I’m looking for a comfy spot to sit.

If you have kids I hope they’re big and strong because even though I am very protective of them I forget sometimes to look out for them when I’m doing zoomies! I’m learning not to jump up on people when they come to the house, but sometimes it’s hard because I want to give everyone a hug when they get here.

I need someone who has time to train me, but it would be easy to do because I love love love food!

I’m also a very good jumper. I can jump over 6ft fences. At the moment, whenever I’m outside I am on my lead because the fences here aren’t high enough to keep me in. I don’t want to run away from you, I’m just very curious and like to explore the neighbors yard too.

The most important thing is that I am very loveable. I do rolly pollies on the couch, I lay on your chest when you’re reading a book and I am very loyal. I’m a bit cheeky with food, I’ll let you know when someone is at the door and I always love to be around my human. Despite having a rough start to life, I am very loving, I just need to be given a chance to live my best life with someone who has lots of time for me.
