About Ivy- Female Kitten
Meet Ivy, a beautiful brown tabby with amazing markings.
Ivy was found under an abandoned house in Newcastle with her four sisters and brother. A kind person took them in and got in contact with the rescue.
Ivy has not had much contact with humans before coming into foster care, so can be a little timid and scared when you approach her, especially strangers coming in to the house. However, Ivy has made amazing progress. She now loves to sleep alongside her humans, showing how content she is with one of the loudest purrs.
She needs a quiet house with a family who is very understanding that she’s not a cuddly cat that wants to always sit on their laps. Ivy would be best suited going to a forever home with her sister Indy, as they have become a great support for each other and are the best of friends.
Ivy has taken to sleeping on her human's beds during the day and loves to help them type on their computers. There are times when she is happy to have a cuddle and sit on your lap, but prefers to find a quiet spot on her own or with Indy to sleep.
Ivy is quite confident around other cats and loves to play with other kittens, but in her time, or she will let them know. She isn’t really bothered by her foster dog, but if it rushes towards her, she gets scared.
** Ivy has a rather curly tail which has been diagnosed as a birth defect. It has no impact on her physical wellbeing or agility and does not require correcting. It is something that makes her unique!
Some information about Ivy:
* She is suitable to a family with no young children (over 12 years only)
