About Willow
I'm trying a new home to see if i like it. Willow is in foster care in the newcastle area and settling in very quickly. She is enjoying the company of the resident dogs and cats and is an absolute joy to have around. Willow is a typical samoyed and loves a good run around the property when given the opportunity but returns quickly when called. She is currently spending lots of time in the house and sleeps inside at night. Willow is toilet trained and learning her boundaries. She is friendly, quiet and loves all human contact, sits for treats and settles down easily at night. Although she has no obvious physical signs, willow has two luxating patella's in her back legs. Put simply this means willow has slipping kneecaps. She has been to the vet who observed her for several days and came to the conclusion that, although she does have this problem, it does not affect her quality of life. Willow shows no sign of discomfort, is in no pain and there is absolutely no restriction on her activity as she runs around normally with the other dogs enjoying her time with them. Willow's foster carer has managed to take a couple of short video's for anyone who may be interested in seeing her 'live' and will forward them on request. It must be pointed out to any potential adopter that willow may or may not require surgery at a later date but a letter from the vet will be made available, as well as an offer to treat willow at a reasonable rate in the future, should the need arise. Willow comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with nsw local council lifetime registration for $350 and is not available for adoption outside nsw. She has also had a recent dental (teeth cleaned under anaesthetic). If you would like more information on willow or to arrange to meet her, please phone 0466 690916 (between 8am and 7pm only) or email using adoption enquiry as your subject heading. Before phoning or emailing, please check denise's rescued dogs in foster care on www. Paws. Com. Au for any updated photos and to make sure this dog is still available for adoption. Listed 28 october
