Rocky

Rocky is a 9 month old puppy who is looking for his forever home. He is a happy boy who adores people. Rocky has a lot of energy and will need an active home that is able to devote plenty of time each day to walking/playing with him. Rocky will often bark constantly if he can see you are home and aren’t spending time with him. Although he is still young and can be silly at times, he would ideally have a home that is willing to allow him inside to be part of the family and willing to work with him on his manners.

Rocky is a strong, heavy boy and his boisterous nature means he can bowl young children over. He would be best suited to a home with older children (10+) who are steady on their feet.

In foster care, Rocky has developed a fondness for swimming so would love a home where he can go swimming often. He also loves tennis balls and enjoys playing a game of fetch. Currently at night, Rocky sleeps in the laundry and he is settled for the duration of the night.

Rocky can at times be destructive so it is best to keep precious belongings out of his reach. He does know basic commands like sit, drop & shake.

His ideal home would have a large backyard so that he has plenty of space to run around in. He is in foster care with other large dogs who he LOVES to wrestle and run around with. He would do well with a slightly older dog who can demonstrate good boy behaviours for him to learn but also keep up with him and his energy.

He is untested with cats or pocket pets, but not suitable to live with chickens.

Although Rocky can be quite a handful at times, he is a very loving boy who absolutely loves a cuddle and wants to spend time with humans.
