About Minnie
Minnie is an active little dog with bundles of personality.
She is currently recovering from surgery to her hip due to damage caused by arthritis but is almost back to full health and is hoping to be zooming around her new home very soon.
Minnie has previously lived in a home with other dogs and currently has several doggy friends. She can be a bit unsure of new people and in new environments so her new family will need to allow her time to adjust. This may include house/toilet training, going for walks out of the home and meeting visitors.
Our behaviour staff can assist with some helpful tips to ensure her transition to a new home is as smooth as possible. Minnie would be best suited to a home without young children (under 12 years) due to not having had much exposure to new people and children in her
previous home.
As Minnies recovery from surgery ends and she is allowed to go back to unrestricted exercise, she will enjoy lots of running and playing with toys.
Minnie is quite a vocal dog especially when excited, so is not really suited to apartment living as neighbours may not appreciate her voice! She will also need some outdoor space to stretch her legs, so a secure yard where she can have safe off leash exercise is recommended
