Tilly

This cute scruffy young girl is Tilly and she’s looking for a very special family or person who can be patient with her, help her gain confidence and work with her as she comes out of her shell.

Tilly is a dog in search of love and a family who she can learn to trust. She’s in need of someone who will work with her to develop her confidence. She is a creature of habit and loves having her own special places where she can wind down and chill if she is overwhelmed.

Tilly absolutely loves cheese and loves trying to find treats in her snuffle mat but she doesn’t really have much interest in toys. She is a good walker on lead however can get easily startled at times by big noises so you need to keep an eye on her and always have a good hold on her lead.

Tilly is at her best when she has other dogs to play with, she’s a completely different dog when she’s playing with her canine friends. With people it takes a lot longer and that’s why she’s needing someone who can see the bigger, long term picture and can understand that her trust will take a bit of time to build and won’t just happen straight away.

Tilly can be a bit stubborn sometimes however and she has learnt that if her lead goes on that she is going somewhere. She is a dog with a lot of love to give, she just needs an understanding family who will love her for who she is and work with her to be the best version of herself. German Shepherds bond very strongly with their people and given the chance Tilly will be no different.
