About Sandy
Nothing phases young SANDY of the Summer Litter, six adorable, large-breed puppies born on or about 19 September 2021.
He is just so, so chilled. The photos were taken at the vet clinic, a place he'd never been before, and he just went with the flow. Dr Cathie proclaimed him her "Patient of the Month" because he was just so cooperative and accepting of the examination. As you can see from the last photo, he actually fell asleep on the examination table.
Gentle, placid and affectionate, Sandy is great with children, loves other dogs and really enjoys being part of his foster family. He's an inside-outside dog and lying in front of the television in the evening is his favourite pastime. And don't tell Sandy, but he's actually a bit of a sook.
He weighs 20 kgs (as at 20 December). His Dad is a Mastiff x Ridgeback and Mum is a Shar Pei x Red Cattle Dog.
Sandy's adoption fee is $550 and he is desexed, microchipped and vaccinated. He would make a loving and loyal companion or family dog.
If you'd like to meet him, please complete the online adoption application at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ and kindly include photos of your yard and fencing.
Preference will be given to applicants who have large breed experience and can offer Sandy the training, socialisation and care he needs to reach his full potential. He is not suited to full-time workers. Secure fencing is essential.
Applicants must be willing to travel to Warwick, Queensland to meet him.
