About Marley
Mooroolbark, VIC
Marley is a gorgeous 2 year old Retriever x German Shepard. She loves walking and needs an active family that will give her outlets for her energy. She walks well on lead and could learn to be your running or hiking partner as well. She is a very smart girl who loves learning. She can sit, drop, stay, come, shake. And is working on place (feet on a Frisbee/marker), and middle (come lay between your feet). She needs a family who will continue to help her learning new things in a fun and positive way. She loves to play tug a war, chase bouncy balls, and chew sticks. Marley enjoys hanging out outside and will happily play and relax outside during the day- after a big morning walk. She needs a large backyard with grass for sunbaking, and preferably space to dig a fun hole. She lives peacefully alongside chickens (in their own run).
Marley enjoys meeting and playing with dogs and would love to live with another playful dog. She hasn't been cat tested (but could possibly be for the right family? / could possibly with slow introductions). Marley needs a family who will be very patient with her as she settles in. Marley is very loving and affectionate once you have her trust, but can be wary of strangers. She is likely to be more attached and loyal to one person, but needs a family that will have everyone put in the work on establishing good communication and trust with her. Marley does have a guardian nature and can be defensive of strangers coming into her space. She needs a home that will respect her space with slow introductions to anyone new.
