About Ruby
Ruby is the sweetest, most affectionate and beautiful girl you will ever meet. You’d be lucky to have her by your side.
Unfortunately her owner passed away and now she’s looking for her furever home. She’s a country girl but has adapted well into city life with joggers, bike riders and trams. She might not have had the most disciplined upbringing so there’re still things for her to learn. But she knows ‘sit’, ‘stay’ and she’s learning ‘on your bed’ at the moment with great success. With a few treats she’s motivated and eager and happy to try new things. She’s great on a lead, and off leash - she listens well on her name in the dog park, and has no issues to spend some of the day by herself. But what she likes most of all is to cuddle up next to you on the couch and follow you everywhere you go. She’s great with kids and most other dogs and she pay no attention to birds and other small animals on your walk.
Ruby is a great compact size, only 16 kg and would suit both in an apartment or house with an outdoor area. Bring in Xmas and the New Year with the best little companion one can ever ask for.
Adoption details
Our adoption process consists of:
- An adoption application questionnaire that will be emailed upon an enquiry if we deem your enquiry is suitable for that particular animal. Please read the description of our animals before making an enquiry.
- A meet and greet to ensure yourself and any existing animals are suitable for your chosen furry friend
- A house check to ensure your property is suitable. This my include physically coming to your house, a video call or photos.
- An adoption agreement to sign upon being approved for adoption. This includes a two week trial period to allow your new pet to settle into their new home.
- Please note we are purely volunteer run so sometimes it may take up to 7 business days for the team to get back to your enquiry and we will only contact you if we believe your enquiry is suitable.
